Marie Gerlica

Marie Gerlica. 103, of Corning passed away at 4:59 PM on Sunday December 24th at New Lexington Health Care Center in New Lexington, Ohio.

Born December 23, 1920 in Rendville, Ohio to the late Cyrus and Verda Morgan Weaver.

Marie was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Corning seniors and she enjoyed playing euchre, going on trips with the Perry County Senior Center, volunteering at St. Vincent food pantry and spending time with her friends and family; Marie was loved by everyone who knew her and she will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her sons, Ronald (Angie), Reg (Teresa), Doug (Robyn Mazade) Grelica; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and her fur-baby, Babe.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Gerlica and her brother, Charles Weaver.

Calling hours will be held from 5-8pm on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Roberts-Winegardner Funeral home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio and from 12:30-1:30pm on Wednesday at the Church.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30pm on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at the Bethany United Methodist Church, Adams Street, Corning, Ohio with Reverend Carolyn Hoskinson officiating.

Burial will follow at Millertown Oakwood Cemetery in Corning.
