Marla Ann Rowe

Marla Ann Rowe, 59, of New Lexington, Ohio sadly left us on Friday, February 24, 2023. She was struck by a vehicle while walking on State Route 345 in Perry County, Ohio and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Marla was born profoundly deaf, therefore involved herself thoroughly in the deaf community and has made many lifelong friends as a result. Even though Marla couldn't hear, she loved to feel the vibrations of music. Being hearing impaired did not stand in the way of her life. Marla didn't always have an easy life, although she did make the best of the hand she was dealt. She was a fun-loving, carefree, soulful individual who dedicated her time to living her life to the fullest. Marla had many passions including the Bible, cosmetology, spirituality, reading, and spending quality time with her family.

She joins her mother, Martha, stepfather Bud, father, Donald, brother, Dirk, sister, Tonda and grandson, Adonis in death. She leaves behind a husband, Douglas, 4 children; Ashley, Joshua, Zachary and Samantha, 3 grandchildren; Zariah, Audriana and Genesis. Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio is in charge of the arrangements.
