Mary Alice (Bell) Shumaker

Mary Alice Shumaker, 93, of New Lexington, Ohio died at 12:45pm on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Main Street Terrace Care Center in Lancaster, Ohio.

Born on January 12, 1932 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late John and Hazel Lehman Bell.

Mary Alice was a member of First United Methodist Church of New Lexington, Ohio and was the owner and operator of the former P&M Gifts.

Survived by daughters, Pamela J. Ryan and Sharon L. Finck; son, Paul John Shumaker; Grandchildren, Joshua J. Ryan and Jessica L. (Kevin) Augsburger; Great- Grandchildren, Madelyn Rose Augsburger and Sylvia Hazel Augsburger; Sisters, Eyvonne Lausa and Ruth Ann Lovett.

In addition to her parents preceded in death by husband, Paul S. Shumaker and son- in- laws, John Ryan, Peter Finck and Dan Rako.

Graveside funeral service and burial will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, April 25, 2025 at the New Lexington Cemetery, 440 Swigart Street, New Lexington, Ohio with Reverend Richard Newlon officiating.
