Mary Ellen Turner

Mary Ellen Turner, 78, of New Lexington, Ohio died at 1:38am on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Fairfield Medical Center Emergency Department, Lancaster, Ohio.

Born August 7, 1940 in Morgantown, West Virginia to the late John C. and Nancy A. Hayes Turner.

Mary Ellen was retired from Kroger in New Lexington; member of the New Lexington Baptist Church; very active member of Carnation Chapter #167, O.E.S.; she had a wonderful sense of humor and loved her animals.

Survived by a sister, Nancy (Jim) Pettit of Glenford; nieces and nephews, Leighann Friend, Dave (Rosemarie) Howard, Byrdwin (Caroline) Howard, Cherae Howard, Chris (Christina) Pettit and Pat (Beth) Patterson.

In addition to her parents, preceded in death by 2 sisters, Ruth Friend and Janet Shultz.

Calling hours will be held from 3pm-6pm with Eastern Star service at 5:45pm and funeral service at 6:00pm with Pastor James Allison officiating on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

A meal will follow at the New Lexington Masonic Lodge, Old Somerset Road, New Lexington, Ohio.
