Melissa Sue (Dusenberry) Hollingshead

Melissa Sue Dusenberry Hollingshead, 49, of New Lexington, Ohio died at 7:59pm on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born September 22, 1971 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Ronald Dusenberry, Sr. and Wilma Holmes Dusenberry Hiles.

Melissa fought a hard battle with cancer for 6 ½ years; she loved her husband, children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and her entire family.

Survived by her mother, Wilma Hiles; husband, Joshua Hollingshead; children, Cody, Michelle, Andera and Kyle James; grandchildren, Cameron, Easton, Payton, Abigail, Nicholas, Brentley, Mason, Benson and Nylee; 2 sisters, Janelle Dusenberry and Lisa Bowen, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bob and Cindy Hollingshead; special friend and sister-in-law, Jamie (Ray) Stanley; brothers-in-law, Jordan (Lora), Lane (Brittney) and Joey (Lori) Hollingshead.

In addition to her father, preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Dusenberry, Jr.

Calling hours will be held from 2-4pm & 6-8pm on Monday, September 20, 2021 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery.
