Patricia S. Spencer was called home to her Lord and Savior at 7:41 PM on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at her home surrounded by family.
Born August 27, 1950 at home in Junction City, Ohio to the late Leonard E. and Pearl E. Ervin Starner.
She loved and served the Lord her whole life. She was dedicated to leading others to Christ. She served and worked in many churches as a Sunday school teacher for over 30 years. She also helped with Samaritans purse in the shoe box collections, along with also leading and helping direct many vacation bible schools. She also sang songs in church with her beautiful voice. She helped teach others in her family many songs as well as they grew up. She also loved gardening and being outside. Through this she made many lifelong friends in her gardening group called “The Hosta Hussy’s” and started a whole new tradition with her family. Although her main job was her family, she sold Tupperware for over 30 years and also made many friends and was respected and loved by them.
Survived by sons, William (Amy) Spencer of Hebron, Thomas (Babette) Spencer of Junction City; Daughter, Lori (Kevin) Hittle of Zanesville; nephew, Christopher Perrin of the home; her grandchildren, David Neff Jr., Erin Spencer, Martin (Makayla) Spencer, Brittany (Ryan) Harris, Levi (Hannah) Spencer, Courtney Spencer, Cody (Taylor) Swope, Brandon and Jacob Hittle; great-grandchildren, Leah Neff, Evelyn and Esmae Harris, Carter Swope and Albert Spencer; brother Lewis Starner.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her the love of her life and best friend for 44 years, Albert D. Spencer; Marlene Corp, Maxine Helwig, Richard Starner, Marylin Scott, Shirley Starner, Betty Perrin, and great-grandson Dustin Neff.
Calling will held 12-4 PM on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 4PM on Sunday at the funeral home with Reverend Dave Helser officiating.
