Patrick Joseph Gable

Patrick Joseph Gable, 68, of Zanesville, Ohio died on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Genesis Healthcare System in Zanesville, Ohio.

 He was born June 9, 1955 in Zanesville, Ohio to Robert and Adelaide Nash Gable.

 Patrick was a kind-hearted man who loved being surrounded by family, especially his grandchildren. He was well known for telling jokes and sharing stories with everyone. He spent his free time watching old westerns. His weekends were spent on family road trips and cheering on Dale Earnhardt during Sunday's race. 

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife Shelley Penrod Gable; sons, Joseph (Gwyn) and Kyle (Keri) Gable; step-sons, Keith (Megan) and Travis (Cortney) Moore; grandchildren, Thomas, Michelle, Hayden, Maddie, Riley, Harlan, Bexley, Brody and Bowen; brothers, John, Gerry, Gene and Jim Gable; several nieces and nephews.

 He was preceded in death by his sons, Steven Eugene Gable and Michael Gable.

 Calling hours will be held from 4-7pm with Rosary at 7:00 on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

 Funeral services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at the funeral home with Father Todd Lehigh as celebrant.

 Burial will follow at New Lexington Cemetery, New Lexington, Ohio.
