Patrick W. Stalter, 82, of New Lexington, Ohio died at 12:04pm on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Born March 11, 1940 in Glouster, Ohio to the late Albert and Helen Souders Stalter.

Pat was a United States Air Force Veteran during the Vietnam era (1959-1963), member of John Tague Post #188, American Legion of New Lexington; former Commissioner for Perry County Veterans; retired from Peabody Coal Company, retired corrections officer from the State of Ohio and a retired associate of the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home; member of Saint Rose Catholic Church of New Lexington.

Survived by his wife of 57 years, Rita Clark Stalter; 2 sons, Michael Stalter and David Stalter; 1 granddaughter, Taylor Stalter; great-granddaughter, Layla Jane Cannon; brother, Richard (Loraleita) Stalter of Westerville and Marg Stenson of New Lexington; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, preceded in death by 2 brothers, Bob Stalter and Tom Stalter and a sister, Fran Kinsel.

Calling hours will be held from 10am-11am with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Saint Patrick Catholic Church, State Route 668, South, Junction City, Ohio with Father Todd Lehigh as celebrant.

Burial will follow in Saint Patrick Catholic Cemetery with graveside military services by John Tague Post #188, American Legion, New Lexington, OH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint Rose Catholic Church, 309 N. Main Street, New Lexington, OH 43764.
