Paul W. Hazlett, 80, of New Lexington, Ohio died on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Country Lane Gardens, Thornville, Ohio.
Born October 27, 1942 in New Lexington, Ohio to the late Robert James and Mary Elizabeth Yarger Hazlett.
Paul retired from the Ohio National Guard; was a truck driver, he loved antique tractors, he enjoyed socializing, camping, fishing and always doing something.
Survived by his children, Paul “Danny” (Mary) Hazlett, Sr., Earl “Robert” (Walt Jeffreys) Hazlett and Kimberly McCutcheon; daughter-in-law, Marcy Hazlett; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen Renick, Rita Gorley, Nita Harris, Dorothy Holdcroft, Karen Hazlett, Kathy Euman and Linda Tolliver; brothers, Harold, Roy, Charles and Johnnie Hazlett.
In addition to his parents, preceded in death by his wife, Judy Ann Hazlett; son and best friend, Rodney Hazlett; step-mothers, Lena Shaw Hazlett and Mary Rehart Hazlett; son-in-law, William McCutcheon; brothers, Frances Rehart, Ralph and Kenny Hazlett; sisters, Marjorie Hazlett, Marian Nelson, Hazel Hinkle, Betty Mohler and Donna Crooks.
Calling hours will be held from 5pm-8pm on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, November 4, 2022 at the funeral home with Pastor Jeremy Ellis officiating.
Burial will follow in Community Gardens Cemetery, New Lexington, Ohio with graveside military services by John Tague Post #188, American Legion, New Lexington.
