Paulette K. Bishop

Paulette K. Bishop, 71, of New Lexington, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at her home unexpectedly. She was born November, 3 1951, in New Lexington, the daughter of Paul C. Bishop and Alice (Smith) Bishop.

Paulette was a Certified Dietary Manager in the healthcare field for many years. She was a hard worker her entire life. She enjoyed watching NCIS, Days of Our Lives, and was a Buckeye Fan. She was an animal lover especially to her four legged feline family.

Paulette is survived by her love, David Slatzer; two children, Bart (Tammy Lyons) Bookman and Kristie (Mark Poling) Bookman; four grandchildren, Ronnie Bookman, Abigail (London) Dickenson, Dalaney Mendes and Nicholas Mendes; two great grandchildren, Elijah Bookman and Isabell Knight; two sisters, Pamela Bishop-Treadway and Debbie Bishop.

In addition to her parents, Paulette was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Bishop and Daniel Bishop.

Friends may call from 6-8 PM, Friday, January 6, 2023, at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington. Funeral Services will be held 11 AM, Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the funeral home with Lisa Fierce officiating. Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery.
