Phyllis E. Potts, 96 of Corning, Ohio died peacefully at 3:10 pm on Friday, September 9, 2022 at her home.
Born on May 10, 1926 in London, England to the late Edward and Phyllis Horide Brown.
She was a member of Saint Rose Catholic Church; after retiring from Hamilton Standards, Phyllis volunteered at the New Lexington Senior Center for several years. She enjoyed watching Ohio State basketball and playing Euchre at the Senior Center.
Survived by her daughter, Karen (Roger) Schooley; son, Brian (Jill) Potts and daughter-in-law, Colleen Potts; grandchildren, Angela (Wes) Martin, Melissa (Joey) Church, Andrea (Clint) Polley, Mahlon Schooley, Jed Middaugh, Alan (Beth) Potts and Kelli (Kailyb) Burgess; several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Potts and son, Rodney Potts.
Graveside funeral service and burial will be held at 11:30 am Thursday, September 15, 2022 at New Lexington Cemetery with Father Todd Lehigh officiating.
