Raymond “Bubby” Bradley Chafins-Seelig, II, 31 of Somerset, Ohio crossed over on Friday, July 16, 2021 at his home.
Born March 4, 1990 in Columbus, Ohio to Raymond Seelig and Daphne Chafins-Hylton.
Brad “Bubby” was a dreamer with a free spirit. He had a smile that would light up the room and the hearts of everyone that embraced it. His life was cut short but his impact on those around him will live on forever. He captured the beauty of life through the lens of his camera and the lyrics of his soul. Out of all things in life, he treasured his family the most. He will be remembered for his creativity, generosity, warm heart, and great sense of humor. He was extremely proud of his beautiful daughter Braelynn which gave purpose and meaning to his life. He will be deeply missed by many but especially his baby brother Bennie James whom he took under his wing and loved unconditionally. In addition to his wittiness, he was very intelligent and excelled at his studies and maintained straight As throughout college. He was very loved by his family and will be forever missed.
He is survived by his mother Daphne and step-father Scott Hylton, father Raymond Bradley Seelig, daughter, Braelynn Castle, brother, Joshua (Leanna) Seelig; Sisters, Makaila Hylton and Rebecca Seelig; brother, Bennie James Hylton; brothers, Andrew Hylton and Matthew Sullivan. Grandmothers, Annis Spence and Rosemary Randolph; several aunts, uncles, cousins and a niece, Eleanor Arledge.
He is preceded in death by grandfathers, James Chafins and Jennings Randolph.
Calling hours will be held from 11 am to 1 pm with funeral service at 1:00 pm on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio
Burial to follow at the Highland Cemetery in Glenford, OH.
