Roger Ray Litchfield (Papaw), 72, of New Lexington, Ohio died on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at his home.

Born January 3, 1950 in Jackson Township, Ohio to the late Cecil and Florence (Keplar) Litchfield.

Roger retired from Cooper Standard, he was a good husband, father, grandfather, loved his 6 grandchildren, loved to fish, hunt, 4 wheeler and thriftier.

Survived by his wife of 48 years, Florence Litchfield; 2 sons, Adam of New Lexington and Bobby of Florida; 2 daughters, Heather (Ralph) Barker of New Lexington, Peggy (Brock) Schmidt; 6 grandchildren, Alyssa, Taylor (John), Abbi (Sam), Katie (Brandon), Jade (Gabe) and Amber; 1 great grandchild on the way; siblings, John of New Lexington and Tommy of Mount Perry.

In addition to his parents, preceded in death by his sister, Sharon and brothers, Jimmy, Bill, Ronny and Donny

Calling hours will be held from 10am-12noon on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Burial will be held at 12:30 at the Community Gardens, 5080 State Route 13, New Lexington, Ohio.
