Obituary

Rolland D. Storts, 79, of Corning, passed away at 11:45 AM on Sunday, July 2, 2023, at Genesis Hospice, Zanesville, Ohio.

Born September 19, 1943, in New Lexington, Ohio to the late Chester and Jeanette Daily Storts.

Rolland served in the US Army and he was a Golden Eagle member of Corning 463, New Lexington Eagles #2070 and Corning American Legion Post #327 of Corning. He liked to fish off the river banks and loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Anna Ross Storts; son, Ron (Cathy) Storts; daughter, Jennie (Tim) Dodson; son, Shane (Sayre) Storts-Gant; grandchildren, Brittany (Will) Hicks, Jordan (Jalyn) Storts, Ryan (Hannah) Dodson, Zack Dodson; brother, Roger (Jan) Storts; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters; Shirley Wesney and Betty Browning.

Cremation will take place.
