Rolland "Wimp" E. Gottke

Rolland “Wimp” E. Gottke, 89 of New Lexington, Ohio died at 1:50 am on Monday, June 14, 2021 at his home.

Born November 26, 1931 in Junction City, Ohio to the late Chester and Fern Garey Gottke.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force;  a member of the BPOE #509 and Eagles #2070 both in New Lexington and James E. Fisher Post #376, American Legion, Junction City, Ohio.

Survived by children, Susan (Edgar) Metzger of Junction City, Ricky (Dana) Gottke of Shawnee, Robert (Chris) Gottke of New Lexington and Lori Fink (Todd Taylor) of Junction City; 10 grandchildren, Billy, Brad, Brett, Brandon, Leslie, Jordan, Shawn, Nathan, Zachary and Ean; 17 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Norma “Tootie” Urban, Connie “Boob’ (Jack) Miller, Kay (Jim) Woods, Donna Johnston, Roger Gottke, Tom Gottke and Gail Gottke.

In addition to his parents, preceded in death by sisters, Becky Moore and Bonnie Reedy.

Per family request, private calling hours and services will be held. Burial will be in New Salem U.B. Church Cemetery, Junction City, Ohio with graveside military services by James E. Fisher Post #376, American Legion, Junction City, Ohio
