Ruth Caroline (McFee) Britt

Ruth Caroline Britt, 73, of New Lexington, Ohio went to be with the Lord and to be reunited with her loving husband on Saturday, November 4, 2023 with her loving family by her side. She was loved and admired by so many.

Born on March 12, 1950 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Kenneth McFee and Helen Sickles McFee Newell.

She was a loving mother, companion, grandmother, aunt, sister, mother-in-law and friend; she was a member of the Wildwood Church of Christ and loved spending time with family and enjoying everything in life.

She is survived by sons, Michael (Ashley) Britt of New Lexington and Richard Britt (Susan) of Minnesota; also long-time companion, Thomas Slyby of Logan; grandchildren, Adessa (Clayton) Tucker of New Lexington, Alysa (Patrick) Bratton of Tennessee, Brayden Britt of New Lexington, as well as great-granddaughter, Emily Bratton of Tennessee, other grandchildren include, Journey (Josh) Gatwood,  Trevor McCord and Steven McCord, II of New Lexington, Anthony Britt, Izabella Britt, Ethany Britt and Jaxon Britt, all of Minnesota; also survived by brothers, Bob (Donna) McFee, Ted Newell and Bill (Ella) Newall, all of Zanesville; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, preceded in death by her loving husband, Darryl Britt and several siblings.

Calling hours will be held from 3-5pm & 6-8pm on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, November 10, 2023 at the funeral home with Pastor Joe McFee officiating.
