Scott Cox

Scott E. Cox, Sr., 51 of New Lexington, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 29, 2022.

Scott was one of the nicest people you would ever want to meet, he would help anyone who needed it. He was always joking and making everyone laugh.

He was born to Phil and Nancy Cox, Jr. on December 8, 1970.

He left behind to miss him, his Mom, Nancy Cox; brothers, Phil (Sherry) Cox, III and Travis (Danielle) Cox;

sisters, Tricia Atherton and Mindy Toner (Brian Murphy); his son, Scott Cox, Jr.; daughter, Hailey Cox; nephews, Philip Cox, IV, Hunter Atherton, Jordan Atherton, Matthew (Keh’lar) Toner, Brandon Toner, Dawson Dyer, Camden and Oden Cox; nieces, Amber (Tyler) Evans, Brittney Toner and Ashley Atherton; great nephew, Hudson Toner; great nieces, Arrorah, Lennon Evens and Aniyah Danielson; his favorite aunt, Donna McCord and aunt Rita Drumm.

Scott was preceded in death by his dad Philip Cox Jr.; grandparents, Philip and Judy Cox, Don and Jane Steen; grandfather, Ralph Drumm.

Calling hours will be held 2-6pm Monday, November 7, 2022 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Funeral Home to assist family with expenses.
