Sheila K. (Ansel) Yonis

Sheila K. Yonis, 53, of New Lexington, Ohio passed away at 11:50pm on Friday, February 7, 2025 at the Pickering House, FairHoPe Hospice, Lancaster, Ohio.

Born October 15, 1971 in Zanesville, Ohio to Butch and Sandra Brown Ansel.

Sheila loved arts, crafts, painting, fishing and hunting. She was an avid animal lover and was the best at finding four leaf clovers. She loved being with her family and friends and most importantly she was the Best Mother and loved her grandkids.

In addition to her parents; survived by her husband of 36 years and the love of her life, Edwin Yonis; two children, Edwin Paul (Tabetha) Yonis, Jr. and Lorain Crystal (Dave) Hughes, Jr; grandchildren, Alyssa Thompson, Amy and Harper McGhee; sister, Sherry (Tim) Adams and brother, Tony (Michele) Ansel.

Calling hours will be held from 11am-1pm with funeral service at 1:00pm with Pastor Marc Caton officiating on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Burial will follow in Rehoboth Cemetery, Rehoboth, Ohio.
