Steven Duane Shipley

Steven Duane Shipley, 64, of New Lexington, Ohio died at 6:21am on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Mount Carmel-Saint Ann’s in Westerville, Ohio.

Born April 29, 1954 in New Lexington, Ohio to the late Delbert and Garnet Shaner Shipley.

Steve was retired from Ludowici Roof Tile (Tile Plant) in New Lexington; attended the Cornerstone Baptist Church, New Lexington; was a member of New Lexington Eagles #2070; every month he took a 50 lb. bag of dog food to the dog pound; he loved to ride his Harley Davidson Motorcycle when he had one, he loved the Cincinnati Bengals and he liked to fish and hang out with his friends.

Survived by his wife, Donna Daugherity Shipley of the home; daughter, Brittany (Nick) Binkley; step-children, Angela Kidwell, David (Lorie) Kidwell of Indianapolis, Indiana  and Anthony Kidwell; 7 grandchildren, Amelia and Audrey Binkley, Amber and Gentrilla Fain, Angel, Rhianna and David Kidwell, III.; 3 great-grandchildren, Ashton and Santana Ivey, Emma Taylor; 2 Nephews, Heath and Terry Talbot.

In addition to his parents, preceded in death by a sister, Christine Talbot.

Calling hours will be held from 4pm-7pm on Monday, January 21, 2019 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the funeral home with Pastor Brian Dutiel officiating.

Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery.
