Toni L. Groff

Toni L. Groff, 72 of New Lexington, died 10:25 AM, Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She was born June 9, 1951, in New Lexington, the daughter of John “Jeep” Wright and Mary (Martindale) Buckley.

Toni was a member of Eagles Aerie # 2070, and enjoyed all the time she spent there. She looked forward to her “Wednesday nights out with the girls”.  Toni was a fun loving, spirited, one of a kind lady who never met a stranger.  She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who greatly enjoyed the time she spent with her family. Toni was an avid animal lover, especially her four cats.

Toni is survived by two daughters, Tracie (Rodney) Abrams of Shawnee and Michelle (Nathan Dunwoody) Stevenson of New Lexington; five grandchildren, Tyler (Sarah) Abrams, Davey (Leah) Abrams, Emma (Will Stenson) Abrams, Tori (Cody) Gee and Andrew (Alexandra Walker) Stevenson; three great grandchildren, Stella Abrams, Sophie Abrams and Norah Abrams; two brothers, Mike Wright and Jon (Cathy) Wright both of New Lexington; many cousins including a special cousin, Linda Stonebrook of New Lexington and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Toni was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Groff; one sister, Cindy Wright and one nephew, Jared Wright.

Friends may call Monday, May 6, 2024, at the Robert Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 7:30 PM, where funeral services will follow at 7:30 PM, with Rev.
