Walter E. Shearer

Walter E. Shearer, 87 of New Lexington, Ohio died on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at his home.

Born April 3, 1935 in Findlay, Ohio to the late Walter G. and Irene Pierce Shearer.

Walter was a member of the Grace Community Church of the Nazarene in New Lexington; he worked at Kroger’s in New Lexington for many years; was a great father and liked camping and fishing.

Survived by his wife of 64 years, Wanda Kennison Shearer; daughters, Karen and Vicki Shearer; grandchildren, Curtis Lazier and Brittany Shearer.

In addition to his parents, preceded in death by aunts and uncles.

Calling hours will be held from 5-8 pm on Monday, August 15, 2022 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Gilkerson officiating.

Burial will follow at The Community Gardens Cemetery, New Lexington, Ohio.
