William E. Sole

William E. Sole, 77, of New Lexington, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at his home in New Lexington, Ohio.

Born September 11, 1948 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late William J. Sole and Glenna Poling Sole.

Bill was a United States Navy Veteran. He retired from Kroger in New Lexington Ohio. He was a family man, loved his kids, grandkids, great grandkids and the Cincinnati Reds.

Survived by his daughter, Melissa (Ryan) Stone; son, Billy Sole; grandkids; Makayla (Curt) Hollyfield, James Daubenmire, Karsyn Sole (Noah Hall), and Emma Sole (Clay Miller); great grandchild, Hanson Hollyfield;  several brother in laws, sister in laws, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his parents, preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Sole; daughter, Cassie Carney and a son, Joey Sole.

Calling hours will be held from 5-8pm on Friday, February 6, 2026 and from 1pm-2pm on Saturday at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at New Lexington Cemetery, New Lexington, Ohio with graveside military services by John Tague Post #188, American Legion of New Lexington, Ohio.
