Naomi Faye Pingle, 85, of New Lexington, Ohio died at 2:26pm on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her family.
Born May 21, 1931 in McRoberts, Kentucky to the late Frank Blair and Grethel Omega Spence Dingus.
Naomi was a homemaker, sold Avon for many years and worked at the former Sears Store in New Lexington; she was a member of Carnation Chapter #167, O.E.S. and the Daughters of America; she loved to shop and spent many hours on the phone visiting with her family and dear friends.
Survived by 8 children, Don (Debi) Pingle, David Pingle, Steve Pingle, Jeff (Peggy) Pingle, Barry Pingle, Debbie (Roger) Hooper, Paula (Barry) Bowers and Susan (Alan) McQuain; 21 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; siblings, Evelyn Dingus, Betty Anderson, Virginia Brandenberg, Sheila (Bill), Frankie (Geneva) Dingus, Mike (Nanetta) Dingus and Linda Sexton.
In addition to her parents, preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lloyd Pingle; granddaughter, Mindie Pingle; 2 sisters, Patricia (Frank) Butrum and Sherry Dingus.
Calling hours will be held from 5pm-7pm on Friday, February 17, 2017 and from 12noon-1pm on Saturday at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.
Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the funeral home with Pastor Tom Wallace officiating.
Burial will be held in New Lexington Cemetery with her late husband, Harold Lloyd Pingle, United States Army Veteran of WW II being interred at the same time with military services by John Tague Post #188, American Legion, New Lexington, Ohio.
Fellowship and a luncheon will be held following the burial at the New Lexington Baptist Church, 890 South Main Street, New Lexington, Ohio.
