Robert E. “Bob” Knox, 53, of Oakfield, Ohio died at 4:22pm on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Genesis Emergency Department, Zanesville, Ohio after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born September 21, 1963 in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late Eugene and Marilyn Sweeny Knox.
Bob was a very avid Ohio State Fan and Fisherman; member of Pleasant Grove/Tatman's Church; he was a great Husband, Dad, Grandpa and Brother.
Survived by his wife of 17 years, Tina Marie Stalter Knox of the home, who was his soul mate and love of his life; daughters, Amanda (Joe) Searles of Junction City and Camie (Sean) Smith of New Lexington; special grandkids, Jordan and Chase; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Doug Kirker of New Lexington; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends.
In addition to his parents, preceded in death by a sister, Lisa Knox.
Calling hours will be held from 2pm-7pm with a funeral service at 7:00pm with Pastor Mary Perani officiating on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
