William J. Fiore

William J. Fiore, 91, of New Lexington, Ohio died Friday, July 3, 2015 at Genesis-New Lexington Care and Rehabilitation Center.

Born April 23, 1924 in New Lexington, Ohio to the late Carmelo and Rosa Delsaro Fiore.

William was a lifetime resident of New Lexington; United States Navy Veteran for 4 years; retired as a Chief Warrant Officer, CW4 from the Ohio National Guard; member of AmVets Post #0051 of Thornport, American Legion Post #0726 of East Fultonham, V.F.W. Post #2806, New Lexington; MacGahan Council #1065, K of C and Saint Rose Catholic Church of New Lexington.

Survived by his children, Joseph (Sharon) Fiore, Nicholas (Pam) Fiore, Maria (Ron) Isham, Teresa (John) Boyle, all of New Lexington, James Fiore of Lancaster and John Fiore of Edgewater, FL; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchild; brother, Anthony Fiore of New Lexington and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, preceded in death by his wife, Dolores F. Fiore; 4 brothers, Joe, Pete, Sam and Johnny; 3 sisters, Rose, Louise and Mary.

Calling hours will be held from 2pm-8pm with V.F.W. services at 7:15pm, Rosary at 7:30pm and Wake Service at 7:45pm on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Saint Rose Catholic Church, Main and Water Streets, New Lexington, Ohio with Father John Reade as celebrant.

Burial will be in New Lexington Cemetery with graveside military services by John Tague Post #188, American Legion, New Lexington, Ohio.
