Carolyn and Rod was the very first people I started working for at the Challenger Restaurant on Broadway in New Lexington. I will always remember Carolyn baked the best pies. They both were very delightful to work for. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. May you both Rest in Peace..........

Aunt Carolyn, Uncle Rhod, Ron and Tobi have always been my second parents. When Mom (Donna Conaway Catchpole) had a devastating stroke when I was a very young boy, I moved to New Lexington and into there loving care. Aunt Carolyn made the best French toast, the best pancakes and the best bacon! Uncle Rhod and Ronnie were the best pals ever...they introduced me to my love of wildlife and conservation, introduced me to fishing, let me stay up late to go owl calling....all of of these things have left indelible and wonderful marks on my life during my twenty years in the parks profession and my focus on connecting youth and families to nature. Ron and Tobi, you know I love you with all my heart and am so sorry for your loss. I know that Aunt Carolyn must be overjoyed to no longer suffer failures of health and to be back with Uncle Rhod, in God's loving care. I will miss them both dearly but I have so many fond memories to look back upon and smile.
With love and great excitement to reunite on Saturday in New Lexington.
Todd

Carolyn was always an inspiration to a beginning teacher! She would lend a hand with teacher tips or an ear for just listening. I remember her fondly and sends my sincerest condolences to Ron and Tobi.

Our families have known each other for a very long time. One of my earliest memories is wrestling with Ronnie on the floor of my parents' living room! Later, Perry Co. CC was our haunt. Bridge club was a tradition for our parents. Carolyn's culinary contributions were a favorite. Her peas come to mind. Rhod and Dad spent many an hour drowning worms together. Those were the days. I miss them all. Our thoughts and prayers are with Ron and Tobi, and all of Carolyn's family....With love, Dave and Becky
