Geneva L. Stenson (Boley), 83, passed away Sunday March 26, 2017 at the Genesis New Lexington Center.
Geneva was born April 20, 1933 in New Straitsville to the late Joseph and Naomi Beerman Boley. She married Patrick W. Stenson on November 28, 1953. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in New Lexington. Geneva loved quilting, gardening, antiques, and especially the many years she spent overseeing the Antique Room at the Perry County Fair with her husband Pat.
Survived by her children: Anastasia (Robert) Lawhead of Boulder, Colorado, Patrick (Bertha) Stenson of Mt. Perry, Martina Brown of New Lexington, and Timothy (Jennifer) Stenson of New Lexington; grandchildren: Jess Lawhead, Heidi Stenson, Patrick (Julie) Stenson, Anna McGee, Kelcey Stenson, Lea Ann (Nathan) Wells, Zoey Stenson, Ben Stenson, Chad (Terri) Winegardner and Rhett (Mandy) Winegardner; great grandchildren: Hayden McGee, Bryer Stenson, and Kinnley Stenson; siblings: Margaret Bowen, Alice Gilbert, Ethel (Dave) Evans, Joseph Boley, and Michael (Cheryl) Boley; brothers and sisters-in-law: Noel Hankinson, Helen (Thomas) Nash, Joseph Stenson, Paul Stenson, and Rosemary (Jack) Albert.
In addition to her parents, preceded in death by her husband Patrick Stenson (1991), daughter Silvana Stenson (1966), great granddaughter Emily Stenson, brother Harold Boley, sister Joann Hankinson, and brothers and sisters-in-law Dwight Bowen, Bob Summers, Wilbur Gilbert, and Dottie Stenson.
Calling hours will be held from 2-4pm and 6-8pm with Wake service at 7:45pm on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.
Mass of Christian Burial will held at 11:00am on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church, corner of North Main and West Water Streets, New Lexington, Ohio with Father C.M. Haddad as Celebrant.
Burial will be in New Lexington Cemetery.
