M. Fay (Lemity) Gilligan

M. Fay Gilligan, 66, of Junction City, Ohio died at 8:35pm on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at The Pickering House, Lancaster, Ohio.

Born June 1, 1950 in Lancaster, Ohio to the late William Lemity and Betty Nace Lemity of Junction City.

Fay was a simple housewife that touched many lives; people were drawn to her and she had an aura about her; she always had a smile on her face, a positive attitude and always spoke kind words. She was a member of Saint Patrick Catholic Church of Junction City.

Survived by her husband of 47 years, Bill Gilligan of the home; children, Angie (Mark) Saunders, Mike (Jenny) Gilligan and Megan (Todd) McCord, all of Junction City; mother, Betty Lemity of Junction City; grandchildren, Drew and Brock Ryan; Casey, Cole, and Chloe Gilligan;  Brayden and Gavin Metzger; Toby, Bradley and Thaddeus McCord; sisters, Joyce (Bill) Barnett of Junction City and Kay (Dave) Stickdorn of New Lexington; brother, Bill Lemity, Jr. of Junction City and her special friend, Linda Young of Junction City.

Calling hours will be held from 2-4pm & 6-8pm with the Rosary at 8pm on Monday, December 26, 2016 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Saint Patrick Catholic Church, 1170 State Route 668, S., Junction City, Ohio with Father C.M. Haddad as celebrant.

Burial will be in Saint Patrick Catholic Church Cemetery.
