Bill (Barb) & family, To add to the condolences posted earlier by my brother Bill from our family - the many memories of the 3 Zartman & 4 Swallow boys growing up in Church & school together and our mothers keeping after us. Your mom in the school cafeteria & ours doing substitute teaching in all the schools. I remember Mike's 3 senior member bowling team against my 3 freshman team in the High School Bowling League, & they were good at Fiore's. It was a handicap league though, & we were able to beat them sometimes if we did better than average. They used to get so mad!! It was all good though! Great memories for some good people. I hope to see you Sat. morning at the Memorial Service. God Bless!

I worked with Peggy at Bryant's for years. I can remember her telling me about fixing fried green tomatoes for Mike. She would clean out the skillet between each batch because he didn't like the taste of the burnt flour. She said he could eat there skillet fills. Don't know why that story sticks with me. I know that she loved her children very much and Mike made her very happy. My prayers go up to each and every one of you.

I only had the privilege of working with Mike for a year, but he will be greatly missed. He was always here before me each day and, I still catch myself looking for his truck, when I pull in the parking lot in the mornings. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.

I have had the pleasure of having Mike as my neighbor for the past four years. I will truly miss him and our conversations about our gardening projects each summer. He had the most beautiful flower gardens in the neighborhood and anyone who was out for a walk, or driving by, slowed down to admire the beauty of his display of brilliant colors. My thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.

We've known Mike since 1999 as neighbors. We got even closer when my husband, Ralph retired in 2004. Over the years, he became a very special friend and a big part of our family. We already miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
