Walter F. Bringardner

Walter F. Bringardner, 79, of New Lexington, Ohio died at 9:50am on Monday, August 1, 2016 at the Pickering House, FairHoPe Hospice, Lancaster, Ohio.

Born January 15, 1937 in Junction City, Ohio to the late Frank and Stella Middaugh Bringardner.

Walter was an  E-6 Ohio National Guard for 33 years; retired from Lempco after 43 years of service; an avid bowler; loved to take long golf cart rides with his wife and he loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survived by his wife of 59 years, Maxine Goodin Bringardner of the home; children, Michael Bringardner, Deborah (Paul) Weiland, Tamara (Dave) Carney and Kim (Tim) Stickdorn, all of New Lexington; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; sisters and brother,  Vivian (Bob) Roby of Texas, Helen Crosby of Delaware, Donna (Tom) Tarpey of Westerville, Jimmy (Betty) Bringardner of Delaware and Jean (Arthur) Abram of Somerset.

Calling hours will be held from 11am-1pm with funeral service at 1:00pm with Reverend Dan Hinkle and Pastor Josh Dexter officiating on Friday, August 5, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church, 126 South High Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Military services will be held at the conclusion of the service at the church by John Tague Post #188, American Legion, New Lexington, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Pickering House, FairHoPe Hospice, 282 Sells Road, Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
